Efeitos do Exercício Físico Durante o Tratamento Oncológico Quimioterápico em Pacientes Adultos

Resumo

Objetivo: analisar, por meio das evidências disponíveis, os efeitos do exercício físico durante o tratamento quimioterápico em adultos com câncer. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa que reuniu evidências recentes sobre o tema em busca realizada na base de dados PubMed via Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, por dois pesquisadores de forma independente. Resultados: foram incluídos 12 estudos publicados entre 2019 e 2025, majoritariamente ensaios clínicos randomizados conduzidos em países de alta renda. As intervenções analisadas, que envolveram exercícios aeróbicos, resistidos e combinados em ambientes supervisionados ou domiciliares, demonstraram boa adesão e segurança, resultando em melhor tolerância ao tratamento, redução da fadiga, preservação da funcionalidade e melhora do bem-estar psicológico. Conclusão: a prática de exercícios deve ser incorporada de forma sistemática ao cuidado oncológico, por meio de programas personalizados e supervisionados, devido aos seus benefícios clínicos e psicossociais.
