Aim: To explore the relationship between pressure injury prevention in end-of-life patients and the concepts of Kolcaba's Comfort Theory through an integrative literature review. Method: The descriptors "Pressure Injury," "Prevention of Pressure Injury," "Comfort Care," "End-of-Life," and "Palliative Care" were searched in the BVS, Lilacs, Medline, and SciELO databases, covering publications from the last five years. Results: Eleven articles were identified, five of which discussed strategies for pressure injury prevention in this context, three highlighted the crucial role of nursing in knowledge and direct care for these patients, and three addressed the prioritization of comfort and dignity for end-of-life patients. Conclusion: The principles of Kolcaba's Comfort Theory are relevant for guiding pressure injury prevention care in end-of-life patients, providing a theoretical foundation to enhance the quality of care.
