Urinary incontinenceAbstract
Urinary incontinence, an involuntary loss of urine, is a health condition that affects men and women - large or small - at any age, globally, depending on the degree and other physical, psychological and emotional factors of human beings. Incontinence can occur in men and women, at any age, but it is more common among women and the elderly, although incontinence is more common among the elderly, it is not a normal part of aging. It is a very latent theme in people's lives and this work presents the most varied types of incontinence, possible treatment methodologies, with less invasive bias, and how it should be treated in people's daily lives. In this article it is also possible to analyze how much people know about the subject and to which specialist they attribute the knowledge to the treatment. The types, symptoms, consequences, treatments and recommendations are worked on. The discussion was based on an IBOPE survey on what is the view of ordinary people with regard to urinary incontinence. It is worth mentioning that the research is neither randomized nor academic, but it served as support for the subjects to be worked in a comprehensive and plausible way by the most diverse areas of health. The objective of this work is to bring the perception of what is experienced within medical clinics, in the day-to-day of a hospital, to facilitate access to information of patients and family members about the treatment and care of voiding health. So this research brings some interesting numbers that guide the theme.
