Objective: To analyze the production of research that adopted as an object of investigation educational programs for the development of competence in bedside ultrasound at undergraduate level, as well as the syllabus and evaluations. Method: Integrative review based on 13 articles in full, raised by Boolean combinations, without delimitation of periods, available in the PubMed Central, Scopus, CINAHL and Web of Science databases, in the following languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish. Of these, only one met the selection criteria and the research question. Results: The article stems from quasi-experimental research, with a positive analysis for the acquisition of knowledge by nursing students about ultrasound-guided vascular access. Conclusion: Nursing curricula need to incorporate competence training so that undergraduate nursing students can add ultrasound as a resource to their clinical practice.
