Abstract

Objective: To report the experience of implementing the Skin Care Committee (CCP) in a Private Hospital in the South of Minas. Method: This is a descriptive study, an experience report based on the experience of nurses at the institution. Results: The implementation of the CCP contributed to reducing the incidence of Pressure Injuries in the institution, in addition to favoring the protagonism of nursing and therapeutic effectiveness for patients. Conclusion: The importance of creating commissions for skin care in institutions is highlighted, seeking to stimulate the interest of health professionals and continuous training, offering assistance based on safety and valuing effectiveness. It is necessary to continuously develop the CCP and its quality indicators. Descriptors: Skin. Nursing. Healing. Patient Care Team.
